Two familiar souls,
Walking in the desert of solitude,
Not recognizing each other,
Burning in our indifference.
Two wild horses,
Brutally tamed,
Hypocrisy our master,
And us, his slave.
The desert a frozen land became,
A cold, cold pole,
On a winters day.
Distance between us,
Coldness amongst us,
We could heat each other up,
Merge into one soul,
Let the ice melt,
And the cold burn.
But no, here we stand,
Frozen in time,
Two ice statues,
Staring in silence.
The snow shall continue to fall,
The wind shall continue to scar,
Occasional heat will make,
The ice in my eyes, melt,
And go down.
A wild, wild tear,
Will freeze in my heart,
And you will never notice,
Never have, never will.
And our winter days,
Shall forever remain,
Until the end of our days,
No life between the ice shall appear,
No grass, no flower,
No sweet music will ever be heard,
No stories to be told,
Just the wind,
The evil wind,
Will whisper in our ears,
Tell us what would’ve been,
And now impossible is,
And just like the wind,
It will pass,
Pass right through us,
And we may never notice,
Not until the ice melts,
The snow stops,
The distance is erased,
And you and I,
Stand face to face,
Heat emanating from us,
Embrace,
Kiss,
Love,
Live.
What you are about to witness are my thoughts, just my thoughts man....right or wrong

random: Hey Ma, Vote or Die
Purple Haze is an American masterpiece. Folks be wondering who I think should be the president. The answer: Cam'Ron Giles. I know, thats one hell of a segue, but trust me the only way to secure democratic harmony and prosperity is to write in Cam as president. He has shown us time and time again his views on the matters at hand. "I tutor the students.", Cam speaking on education. "I get the boosters boosting. I get computers 'putin.", Cam on economic stimulus through technology. "Get em girl", Cam in women's rights. "My team is the goonies.", Cam on the state of the US military. "I help you get your son out of PS 22.", Cam on school vouchers in public education. "Who ill, a check for $2 mil.", Cam on economic stimulus dollars. "Dog, It ain't about Cam. I got a son homeboy, its about Cam.", Cam on the importance of family. "You know me dog. I just wanna keep the peace. But saying my name, its only gon lead to beef.", Cam on terrorism. I'm done yall. But for real. Dipset forever.

life: Binding Clauses
After much self-deliberation i have concluded there is a two day grace period on all chipped polish. Random you say? Well these constructed thoughts stem from a conversation with a coworker about women I have dated. I'm not saying she gotta get em done again, just hit the polish remover.
I'm cool if my lady doesn't have her nails done all the time. Just don't let that chipped polish stay in play too long. That's fair right? It takes like 12 minutes to remove the polish. Do that while your watching "Grey's Anatomy" or "Scandle". As a former nail biter, I never judged girls with booty diggers. But I don't bite my nails anymore...and I'm a guy...sooo. As she has the right to demand that I don't walk around for a week in need my hair done, I too can mandate chipped polish cleanup rule. When yall tell yall men "baby its time for a haircut," I hope he ask if you're going pay for it or calls you an elitist. Just kidding. If my lady won't make sure I look good, then who can I trust? If I need a shave, haircut, floss, tissue or a piece of gum, please be the first to let me know. Don't have me out here looking like "who done it and why?" You know why MJ gets away with what he wears? Cus his lady never says "uuum baby. You want to stop by a tailor this weekend?" Tell your girl when she is gaining weight. The lies have cost us for far too long. And when I go one too many mini donuts over...let me know. Cus that's love. It's gonna hurt me to the core, but she did this for me. Men are trained to outright LIE to women just to keep her happy and quiet. Meanwhile, she copping major lbs. Every week. Just gaining. And we notice. But we be quiet. For peace sake. But that attraction? Dwindling. He still loves you, but yea, he wishes you hadn't gained. And vice versa. Ya man is killing cool ranch doritos by the bag. And you just watch him. Grease stains on his shirt. He is happy, so to keep the peace and his pride in tact, you lie to him and lust at some r&b singer on the BET awards. If I'm being a louse, don't let me be a happy one. Not saying nag me, but tactfully tell my fat ass to get active. I get it. After 3 kids, weight is hard to get off. After an 8 hr shift you don't wanna slide to the gym. I feel you mama. But...that's not an excuse to let it all go. TRY to maintain. Just try. I love you. I'm never going to leave. Just try though. Suffice it to say that any woman that has been heavy, and lost weight, your man remarked at how great you look now. Doesn't mean he thought you were unattractive before, he just appreciates your transformation. Likewise, if you had a bird chest when she met you, but you manage to fill out, she WILL marvel. Nothing wrong with that. Don't lie to me. If my gut is putting a hurting on my blazer buttons, call me out on that. I beg of thee. I bring mine in the dressing room with me. She gone tell me if I'm in it to win it. These are binding contract clauses.
P.S.
Call out ashy ankles and elbows too. Cus I miss spots.

life: Excuses
If not that the Sun shines,
and it shines so scorchingly,
and; the Moon who is quite shy and soft,
also the cloud that may darken the day,
and that weeping rain,
that wipes the Earth away,
Moreover if not for that sky,
that sometimes fades away in blues.
if only i was that beginning,
you would not have to spell 'the end! '
Excuses are the known causes,
of all delayed successes,
an Evil ground that sacrifices,
the wealth of opportunities,
On the altar of frivolous reasons.
If excuses were the highways,
Only procrastinators would be its travellers!
and it shines so scorchingly,

life: Tropes vs Women
If you’re a gamer on the Internet, I probably don’t have to tell you about the backlash against culture critic Anita Sarkeesian for her web series “Tropes vs. Women in Video Games.” http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBBDFEC9F5893C4AF If you haven’t heard of it and you would like to lose a little faith in humanity, I’d encourage you to Google it. It’s gone way beyond differences of opinion and interpretation into the territory of rape and death threats, all because she’s making some videos about some things that we all know exist.
I don’t really have a lot to say about that. Ok, that’s not true. I do. But I don’t have anything to say that hasn’t already been said better. But there’s one thing about it that keeps grating at me, so I wanted to address it. There are a lot of “sensible” people who keep pointing out that while, yes, there are sexist stereotypes of women in video games, there also exist plenty of gendered stereotypes that hurt men as well. This apparently means that either a) if both genders are portrayed negatively, then the sexism isn’t that serious (because that makes sense) or b) Sarkeesian is a sexist for not making a video about those issues. So here’s my response to that statement.
The video series is called Tropes vs. Women. This might seem a little petty, but there it is. It’s not “Tropes vs. People” or “Tropes in Video Games.” She decided to make a series dealing with a topic aimed at a very specific portion of the population. It doesn’t mean that harmful tropes against women are the only ones present in video games. She also isn’t making a series called “Tropes against Racial Minorities,” but there is certainly a lot of material to create one. That doesn’t mean these other topics are unimportant. They’re very important, really. They’re just not the topics being discussed.
All discrimination is not created equal. That’s something that a lot of feminists have tried to drill into people’s skulls, usually to no avail. It is true that us men face gendered discrimination, but our experiences are vastly different from those of women. That’s because discrimination against women is something that is ingrained into our culture. It’s kind of like the age old argument that racism against African-Americans “isn’t that bad” because some black people don’t like white people all that much. Neither one of those things is particularly good, but white folks just don’t face prejudice on a mass cultural level, so we really don’t need to compare the two. It’s just not the same. You could make a fair argument that these tropes against men are indeed enforced by the culture as a necessity of gender roles, but that would just bring me to my last point.
Discrimination against men based on gender roles is rooted in misogyny. Many of the male-centric tropes in gaming are based on our culture’s obsession with hyper-masculinity. Men who don’t measure up to this macho standard are seen as feminine and are often ridiculed. They’re called “girls” or “pussies” or “bitches.” They’re called gay because our society equates “gay man” with “woman,” and both of those things are supposed to be terrible. It’s the way our culture keeps men and women in line. Act this way or you’re a girl. And girl, of course, is always an insult. So if the problem facing both genders in gaming is misogyny, why not talk about misogyny in video games? What’s so scary about that? If you’re really concerned about the way men are portrayed in games (and you should be), then you should be invested in understanding why those portrayals exist.

life: Reciprocity
And I blew you a kiss,
sent it sailing, sent it soaring
on the winds, to keep you safe
make you warm.
And I knew that goodbye,
was a beginning, just beginning..
of a new life you see, of a new life for me,
and I labored and laughed at your
impudence, at my
pain.
Wondering where did it come from?
this "thing" built on bull
and I laughed at my lost....
innocence, my lost....
And that kiss that I flew and sent sailing to you
on the wings of a prayer,
you set me "free", to make me "strong"
you helped
me be...all alone.
I now have grown,
and I wonder at your absence
and ignorance.
sent it sailing, sent it soaring
on the winds, to keep you safe
make you warm.
And I knew that goodbye,
was a beginning, just beginning..
of a new life you see, of a new life for me,
and I labored and laughed at your
impudence, at my
pain.
